professional strategies for pediatric problems
Our Mission.
Our mission is to provide strategies, solutions, and support to optimize the physical, intellectual, and emotional wellbeing of all children and those who support them.
Why we felt called to action.
The well-being of parents is now recognized as a critical public health issue. We know schools and other community supports are often stretched equally thin. We want to help provide bridging supports.
-
In August 2024, the U.S. Surgeon General's issued an Advisory on the Mental Health and Well-Being of Parents. As outlined by the U.S. Dept of Health and Human Services, it highlighted "the urgent need to better support parents, caregivers, and families to help our communities thrive".

-
The Advisory reported concerning statistics:
-
41% of parents report most days they are so stressed they cannot function
-
33% of parents report high levels of stress in the past month compared to 20% of other adults
-

-
The Advisory identified these key stressors for parents and caregivers:
-
The increasing time demands of both employment and childcare duties.
-
The health and safety of their children.
-
Mental health impacts of technology and social media.
-
Parental isolation and loneliness.
-
Cultural pressures of time-intense parenting and their children's future.
